Chocolate Chip Cherry Almond Cookies
I generally stay away from recipes with so many ingredients, but these flavors work so well together. This recipe has become a family favorite- I hope yours loves it as much as ours!

2 sticks butter (8 oz), room temperature
2 cups packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp baking soda
2 ½ cups flour
1/4 tsp fine sea salt
1 cup coarsely chopped dark chocolate
1 cup coarsely chopped milk chocolate
1/4 cup toasted, slivered or chopped almonds
1/4 cup dried cherries (Bing are best), chopped

1) Cream butter with the brown sugar until it looks light and fluffy; this takes about 3-4 minutes.
2) Add your eggs and scrape the bowl well. Keep mixing for 1 more minute and add the chocolate, almonds and cherries. Mix until just combined.
3) In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, salt and baking soda. Add to the butter mixture and mix until just combined.

4) Spoon your dough onto a parchment-paper lined cookie sheets.
5) Bake at 350 until lightly golden brown.
